Key Duties & Responsibilities
Creating a suite of integrated programmes beginning with Tender, Design, Procurement & Contract/Timetables
Ensuring sufficient time is allowed for design and construction of various high technical details within the project.
Understanding & Identifying operational requirements for completion of each element, area or phase.
Analysing construction sites (especially ‘Live’ construction sites), their proximities & local environments to determine appropriate construction methods & logistics for transporting labour, materials & equipments.
Creating Graphical phasing plans for better understanding of programme integrity.
Preparing Storyboards to help neighbours beware of ongoing construction works.
Monitoring project progress throughout the contract period compared to planned schedule of works.
Liaising with project team and client representatives (if necessary) and making adjustments to the projects as per the requirements.
Ensure site team manages the work and progress effectively towards the target programme dates.
Provide the required IT/programming software familiarising support to the site team to help them manage their daily schedule of activities.
A candidate should hold a degree in Engineering and possess at least two years of professional experience in the Construction or a related field.
Being a Construction Planner, required to work very closely with the construction team working towards successful delivery of the project and developing satisfied customer relationship (includes close liaison with Client Representatives during project contract period).
